Ayden's Eating Adventures
It turns out Ayden LOVES food! LOVES...as in - stuff everything my mommy puts on my tray in my mouth, wipe it all over my face and in my hair, and drop the rest of it on the floor. Ayden has had quite the adventures with food thus far. He loves to grab and anything I give him.
So far, Ayden has eaten pretty much everything under the sun...bread, peanut butter, homemade chicken patties, strawberries, peas, sweet potatoes, lasagna, Cheerios, chicken, steak, mango, pancakes, waffles, spaghetti, pizza, figs, cottage cheese, raspberries, blueberries, ...and lots more! His favorites are definitely oranges, prunes, yogurt and bananas.
I love watching him eat! But, cleaning up afterwards is soooooo time consuming. Family dinners in our house look something like this...Todd sees that Allie gets her dinner and he usually sits down and eats with her. I try to feed Ayden his dinner at the same time. I usually get up about a dozen times to get something or clean something. Whatever Ayden decides he doesn't want to eat, I usually eat. My dinners lately have been a hodge-podge of things. While I love seeing this new phase of Ayden's...I dread dinner every night at the same time. MESSY!!!

Springtime Suprise
We all came home from school today to find an early Easter treat sitting on our stairs. That cuddly Easter bunny bounced right in a dropped of a little something special (and yummy) for the little in our house.
A little stuffed bunny and mango pouch for Ayden...a special pair of Easter socks and a PEEPS doughnut for Allie. YUMMY!
A letter to each little...
...made them super excited! Easter is almost here! We can't wait!

Ayden is 7 Months
This month Ayden had his first bite of food...and he LOVES it. Some of his favorites are bread, peanut butter, homemade chicken patties, banana, prunes, sweet potatoes, and yogurt. Ayden likes to eat in his high chair when the family has meal time. He nurses 4-5 a day. Ayden likes to be rocked to sleep. He sleeps about 9-10 hours at night. He loves taking walks in his stroller while watching his big sister ride her bike or drive her Power Wheels car. Ayden's hair is really starting to grow in. Some of Ayden's new tricks are rolling from his back to his tummy and grabbing his toes. Ayden has become very verbal. He says da, mu, and th and blows raspberries all the time. Ayden spends his playtime in the jump-a-roo or exersaucer. He loves to roll around on the floor too.
Ayden's' 6 Month Photos
Our little guy is getting so big...it won't be long before he isn't my baby anymore (tear). I had to capture this moment in time, because I know it won't be long before these precious baby days will be long forgotten. 6 months old is such a fun age!
Ayden cooperated VERY well for our photos! Allie was her usual photogenic self...with the help of a few Jelly Bellies. Thanks, Denise for taking our photos on your vacation back to MI. We really appreciate it! We always love your photos!

EGGstravaganza
It's egg hunt'n time again! This years annual egg hunt was held at Tollgate Farms...which is about a 10 min walk from our house!!!the sun was shining on this beautiful WARM spring day! The perfect day to pile the kiddos in the stroller and head out for a walk to pick up some eggs.
The eggs are out and ready to be grabbed up! Allie did a fabulous job picking up her allotted NINE eggs. We counted to make sure she got only nine. The younger ages were given a 3 minute head start. It was WONDERFUL. No one got trampled! Allie could walk and pick up her own eggs....all by herself.
The rest if the morning was filled with petting farm fun, eggciting Easter crafts, and a hat ride to wrap it up with. What a great family fun day to get us all ready for Easter!!!

Easter Bunny
There were a lot of things on my "to do" list I wanted to accomplish over spring break. Visiting the Easter Bunny was was one of our top priorities. Especially because we could go on a Tuesday when hardly anyone was there!
Austin visited the bunny with us. Look at those cheese faces. Cutie pies!!!
My, that Easter Bunny sure is a friendly rabbit. He was hopping all around the mall. Ayden liked to touch the bunny's nose. Allie preferred to sit next to him on the bench. Maybe next year.
Ayden's first visit with the bunny. Maybe the Easter Bunny will bring Ayden lots of pouches with carrots in them!!!
The official Easter Bunny picture of 2014. I guess those two little smiles were worth the $23 I spent for that photo.

After a quick play at the kids area, Allie and I hit up the yogurt stand. I couldn't help to capture this moment in the mall as I text Todd "Best day ever!" What more could a mommy want than walking through the mall with my two beautiful littles and ice cream...how lucky am I?
I was actually trying to get a photo of Allie walking through the mall licking her ice cream cone, but she saw me with the camera and stopped to pose and smile. Yep! That's my daughter!
