Little Artist
She must get it from her mamma. Allie was chosen by Mrs. Takata, her art teacher, to have her raccoon art in the WB art show. What an honor!

Preschool Concert
Tonight was Ayden's last concert as a preschooler...how adorable was he?!? Ayden stood in the front row and chose only a couple of songs to sing to. He belted out "Baa, Baa Black Sheep" but just smiled nervously for a few other songs. Ayden was very well behaved on stage...and oh so cute.
We all sang the last song together in the audience...Driving In My Car...a new favorite for Ayden!
RIP MWX
The Bitty Bombs had an incredible season. Allie competed as a MINI this season for the first time. Her team was up against some pretty tough competition. I'm very proud of how much her team grew and learned this season. Allie learned how to do a back walkover and by the end of the season it was added into her routine.
This season is the last season Allie will wear BLACK & RED...MWX will no longer be. Midwest Xplosion will now be the STINGRAYS. This transition is bitter-sweet...we've learned that it is quite an honor to wear green and blue, but I will miss the bomb squad dearly. I always envisioned placing Allie's level 5 uniform next to her tiny Snap Pop's uniform at her graduation party one day. This will still happen, just a change of color.
Todd and I are incredibly proud of our BITTY and are super excited to see what's in store for our Allie RAY.

Lego League
These darling Daisies did amazing this Lego League season. Allie, Briella and Hailey made up the DIVING DAISIES team. They learned all about the journey of water. Their challenge was to choose a way they use water and improve a part of the water journey.
Their water park lego model showed their water source, water storage, water pump, and sensor to solve their problem of wasting too much water at the water sprinkler. This year they had TWO moving parts, lots of waterpark fun and loads of creativity!

Diving Daisies
The Diving Daisies have been meeting and working very hard on their Lego League Challenge this year. Allie's team was made up of 3 Daisy Girl Scouts. This year the girls learned all about the journey of water...where water comes from and how it gets to us. These Daisies learned about how water is cleaned and treated. They built a water pump and decided their water use would be a WATERPARK! The water traveled from the lake, through the water treatment center, to the pump and into the water tower until it was ready to use in the water park. They made their waterpark better by adding motion sensors to the water features in order to save water. This year they had TWO moving parts...the sprinkler and the water pump.
Great job, Diving Daisies!!!

Maple Surgaring
While Todd's away...we will play...up at Tollgate Farms for their Maple Sugaring event. We rode on a tractor out to the forest to see all the trees tapped and the sap flowing out. We went in the sugar shack to see how the maple sugar was made and even got to try some on yummy popcorn. The kiddos tapped a tree by drilling a hole and we even saw some friends along the way.
