Stopped to see what all the hype was about…TWICE! Kentucky and Tennessee Buc-ee’s did not disappoint!! Beaver nuggets, banana pudding, brisket, AND BUC-EE…he was the highlight of our road trip!!

When in Tennessee, you visit the Country Queen. Before she hits the mat tomorrow, we enjoyed the Smokies with our cheer posse. We rode all the coasters (even the upside down ones) including the famous WILD EAGLE…I’m starting to think I’m getting too old to hang at amusement parks with these teens. We hardly stopped for food but managed to enjoy some flavors of the season while running from line to line. The iconic world-famous Dollywood CINNAMON BREAD was everything and more of all that I heard about it...and these animals devoured it in about 60 seconds (seriously I think I got 3 bites and I was being aggressive).

This weekend was a KNOCK OUT…competition, light festival, and fun around town. After some mistakes on day one, they came back for a fight on day two. Taking home rings and GRAND CHAMPS!! We believe in you, Tiger’s Eye!

Gingerbread at Our House!

We were so excited to be able to host Cousin Gingerbread Houses at our new house!!  We perfected our houses once again with this lovely tradition!  Ayden's was quite the mansion and mine was more of a castle.  Allie was just going for the smallest and quickest house to accomplish.

Allie is 13

Allie is outgoing, hardworking, independent, and full of life. She is smart, caring, and tough as nails too. Allie is doing very well in school getting all A's in her classes, making new friends, and trying new things like sideline cheer. She is progressing her skills in cheer with whips and layouts. Allie still loves buttered noodles and would prefer to eat them for dinner every day...along with chocolate and peanut butter ice cream. Allie enjoys doing puzzles, hanging with her friends, walking to the Dollar store and Dairy Queen, and scrolling her phone. Allie donated her hair for the second time this year and is almost as tall as her mom.

A NEW ROOM for a new chapter…all of Allie’s favorite things. Cheer, pink, gold, makeup, and photos of friends. All TEEN! Hoping she’ll love this space for many years to come.

 

Allie was surprised on her birthday morning from the elves.  We enjoyed dinner dinner with Nana and Allie requested Crumble Cookies for her birthday dessert.  A few friends came over to celebrate Allie entering into her teen era for cupcakes and girl time. 

 

 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our beautiful teenager. It’s your birthday, but we're the ones who received a gift…you. May your wisdom grow as you enter this new phase. Be brave, be bold. I know a lot of dreams are being cooked up in your heart and I pray that all your wishes turn into reality. We will always be here for you. Happy birthday, Allie Girl!

North Pole Breakfast

It's beginning to feel (and look) a lot like Christmas.  The elves found our new home and left some surprises from the North Pole.  Thankful to have our traditions in our new home this year.

 

 

Stunt

This season of STUNT was bigger and better than every before. Motor City was undefeated and was the Stunt Champion of Tournament too!  Not only did we play a few games home in the gym, but we also traveled to Davenport University, Cheerville in OH, and Pittsburgh this season.  Allie was a High Point Player of every game as well.
