Medieval Times

Watching some knights battle and feasting on dragon (AKA: chicken leg) with some of my favorite lords and ladies.

Tiger’s Eye put up a fight at GOLD RUSH this weekend! Super fun competition with lots of talent. Enjoyed routing for all our MCC teams, making memories, and making big improvements on day 2.

Sideline Cheer

Allie’s All Star cheer schedule allowed her to participate in school cheer this year. Her last game of season was canceled due to snow day…but here are some memories of her first (and maybe last) WBMS sideline season.

Eat, Drink, and Be Merry

Santa found our new house and left some goodies for all four of us. Ayden received a new video game racing wheel, LED lights for his room, and a lava lamp. Allie loved her Lululemon jacket, LED lights for her room, and other body care items. We celebrated Christmas day at Nana's for dinner.

T'was the Night Before Christmas

Feeling grateful to celebrate all our traditions with family near and far in our new home. The cookies are out, our Give Back Sacks are filled, reindeer food sprinkled all down our street, and we hugged the elves goodbye before Santa takes them back to the North Pole. It was a foggy one today…but Ayden assured me that Rudolph would have no trouble getting Santa to our house. T‘was the night before Christmas…we made it!

Tennessee

Stopped to see what all the hype was about…TWICE! Kentucky and Tennessee Buc-ee’s did not disappoint!! Beaver nuggets, banana pudding, brisket, AND BUC-EE…he was the highlight of our road trip!!

“I always count my blessings more than I count my money.” -Dolly Parton

When in Tennessee, you visit the Country Queen. Before she hits the mat tomorrow, we enjoyed the Smokies with our cheer posse. We rode all the coasters (even the upside down ones) including the famous WILD EAGLE…I’m starting to think I’m getting too old to hang at amusement parks with these teens. We hardly stopped for food but managed to enjoy some flavors of the season while running from line to line. The iconic world-famous Dollywood CINNAMON BREAD was everything and more of all that I heard about it...and these animals devoured it in about 60 seconds (seriously I think I got 3 bites and I was being aggressive).

This weekend was a KNOCK OUT…competition, light festival, and fun around town. After some mistakes on day one, they came back for a fight on day two. Taking home rings and GRAND CHAMPS!! We believe in you, Tiger’s Eye!
