Bridging to Cadettes

Tonight I bridged Allie to a CADETTE Girl Scout. She turned in her green vest for a tan one…the last vest she will receive in her Girl Scout endeavors. This vest signifies an older scout and will stay with her from here on out. Allie and her Cadette friends were gifted a silver key. The silver key symbolizes that the girls are seeking to unlock the door to Cadette Girl Scouting and experience all that lies behind it.

I’m honored to be these little ladies’ leader and look forward to many more fun adventures, badges, and making the world a better place!

 

 

 

Last Day of School

It’s finally here. The LAST DAY OF SCHOOL for these two (and me too!) HELLO SUMMER!! I’ve had each of them at Gretchko with me for the past 7 years (one year they were both at the G together). Next year will be very different for us all.

Allie has competed all of her elementary years as she leaves Scotch Elementary and will be off to Middle School next year. Her hair is longer, she still loves dresses, she’s still super competitive, and she qualified for advanced math.

Ayden is leaving me and Gretchko as he moves up to Scotch next year! His confidence has grown, he’s a tad bit more outgoing, he’s become a great littler reader, and has developed some wonderful friendships.

  

 

 

5th Grade Promotion

5th GRADE PROMOTION! Three years of wonderful teachers, friends, and principal. Many Scotch School memories will forever live in her heart. She’s on to a new chapter next year in middle school…with that comes LOTS of responsibility. We sure did surprise her!!!
