Back to School Breakfast

Today I surprised the kiddos with a pencil waffle back to school breakfast.  The summer flew by (as it always does) and it's time to go back to school.  To celebrate the new school year of first grade and preschool (again) I got these little learners some activity books, fun alphabet post-it notes, new socks, a Leap Frog video, and a new backpack for Allie.  She was thrilled!!!  She's been asking for a new backpack ALL SUMMER!

Happy back to school!!  I'll miss summer, sleeping in and traveling...but I'm ready to have a regular routine again.  Here's to a great school year!

Co-Pilot

A little bit of fun at the airshow today before school starts.  These two got to test out few aircrafts and see where Daddy works at.  We watched the airshow and saw some crazy tricks!

Manners

Allie preformed in her first musical production...MANNERS!  This week she attended theater camp at the Farmington Players Barn and fell in love with the stage. She played the part of the NOBLE and approximately three lines and a full song to memorize.  She did great...saying her lines slowly and loud (sort of).  Allie preformed for us and the Aders came too!

I always knew she would be a little actress.

Las Vegas

Kathleen celebrated her Fabulous 40th VEGAS STYLE!!  We has so much fun!  There's no place on earth like Las Vegas.

We spent a couple days at the pool...one in a cabana.  This girl knows how to do her 40th!  The pool was amazing...and so were the drinks.

Birthday dinner was a Tao and then we rode the HIGH ROLLER.  The views of the city were amazing.  We had a pod all to ourselves.

On our last day, I rode SLOTZILLA!  It was way cool riding superman-style across Freedom Street.

I was pretty bummed Todd couldn't come...work.  But, I couldn't NOT go to Vegas for my girl.  Thanks Nana and Auntie Ellen for keeping the kids occupied while I was away...and thanks T for encouraging me to go...alone.
