Easter With My Peeps

We are still recovering from vacation and a couple of us came home with a cold, but the bunny bounced on over and brought some baskets and hid Easter eggs today! I’m so incredibly thankful for Kath Hammerick for cooking for us today and for Vicky Cauley for coming to my rescue with these super fun egg spinners!! These things are the best!! Happy Easter from our family to yours.

Blue Mountain Canada

What an incredible weekend competing internationally in Canada. We may have driven 6.5 hours through a blizzard in the dark to get here, but these ladies didn’t disappoint on the mat. Not only did they represent the D, but also the US (they got so much attention and compliments). Blue Mountain was such a neat town to chill in (literally)…temps were fridged, but the boys stayed warm in the heated pools and hot tubs! Tim Horton coffee taste better here, Cheer Dad Bourbon Club made an appearance, and there was a Beavertails!! Tiger’s Eye placed first BOTH DAYS and were the highest scoring team on Saturday too!! So proud of our program and all our MCC athletes.

National Junior Honor Society

We are so proud of you and your dedication to doing well in school. Your hard work does not go unnoticed…especially in your advanced math class (gosh I dread math test weeks). You’ve displayed good character, tons of service to your community, leadership, and citizenship. We love you so much and are looking forward to watching you continue your academic success throughout school. Keep making us proud kiddo.
I also couldn't help but feel a sense of pride as I watched all my past students, Girl Scouts, and Allie’s friends being inducted into the NJHS too. What a wonderful group of scholars and students.

Niagara Falls

Motor City adventured in NIAGARA FALLS…New York and Canada. Journeyed through tunnels behind the beautiful falls. Fun, food, and friends at Clifton Hill. Ate breakfast in a spaceship. Indulged in Original Buffalo Wings, Canadian Beavertails, and Sweet Jesus. Cheer brothers suffered all weekend when they weren’t gaming, playing all kinds of sports in the hallways, and splashing in the pool. Not to mention that TIGER’S EYE hit the mat hard this weekend and came out with Grand Champs!! That’s what a Hit Zero routine will get you. Not looking forward to my cheer hangover tomorrow (yes that’s a really thing). But it’s worth it…my heart is full and I’m so proud of these kiddos.
