All Star World Championship

Spoiled at sendoff with a final practice at home.  Then one final practice for both teams, Jade and Rubies, on the iconic Disney football field....followed by only last team photoshoot.

Jade brought it…fierceness, fire, emotions, courage, dedication, and the love they feel for this sport called CHEER. Unfortunately their journey ended early as they did not make it to finals in their J4 division. This routine is one of my favorites…the music, the sass, the choreography. I adore a particular flyer as well.

ARRRR Rubies on the other hand, SHIVER ME TIMBERS! ...advanced to Finals.  They sure were something special this season. Allie absolutely loved competing on this Y3 team with her mateys and thrived as a first year base. The most adorable routine, music, and uniform accessories. We are so proud that they earned a bid to All Star Worlds.  Rubies day at finals was memorable, emotional, and just BLIMEY fantastic.

I can say our CHEERCATION. was a great success.  Pool time, warm sunshine, Disney Springs, City Walk, world’s biggest McDonald’s, Jeep rides, my birthday, Lexi’s birthday, friends, laughter, brother bonding time, and all the good feelings from the end of a successful and amazing competitive cheer season. Feeling blessed to be on their journey with all these people. They sure know how to make travel sports fun!!

Our Crowned Jewel

Allie and all her besties cheered on the Youth Level 3 team, Rubies.  Their pirate theme was ARRR-mazing!  Partway through fall Allie was asked to join the Junior Level 4 team, Jade as a flyer.  Crossing to two teams is a lot at times, but she committed to the hard work and dedication for the season.

Tennessee Trip

This was our longest drive yet...all the way to the GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS!!  When you have a cheer competition in Gatlinburg, TN at spring break, you make the most of it!  We arrived late afternoon and headed to Laurel Falls to hike.  The weather was a nice welcome from the cold Michigan spring we are used to.

We ventured over the longest pedestrian bridge in North America with some friends.  We saw some great views of Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains.

More hikes in the morning with more friends and a hearty brunch at the famous Pancake Pantry.

We then enjoyed the beautiful views in the mountaintops at Anakeesta. We relaxed, we adventured, we indulged, we played. Something is just different about the sunset in the mountains.
