Summer Bucket List

Summer always flies by WAY too fast!  It seems like July comes and then all of a sudden I'm back in my classroom a few days later getting ready for the new school year.

The Hammerick's once again had many adventures this summer.  The kids came up with a few things they wanted to do this summer, which included rock painting, roller skating, visiting the puppy store, Airtime, flying with Daddy, and theater camp for Allie (Ayden took tennis lessons for part of the summer).  Or course the kids participated in the summer reading program at the library and I volunteered again at VBS (we still love our VBS)!

Or travels included Pennsylvania to see Aunite Ellen and Uncle Joe.  We explored Seattle, WA before we cruised to Alaska.  Finally, all four of us visited Harbor Springs and Houghton Lake in northern Michigan just before back to school.

It's always so sad when summer ends.  Sometime summer feels just as busy as the school year with all that we do and all the places we go...but I feel so blessed to have these summer memories to fill my heart.
