Bridging to Brownies

Another successful year of Daisies!  Tonight Allie received all her year's badges and patches she earned as her last year as a Daisy Girl Scout.  There are so many accomplishments these girls should be proud of...

This year, our troop attended core camp for the first time.  We learned about the journey of water, had a maker space drive to collect items for our school's maker space, and sold over 7,500 boxes of cookies as a troop!  We went camping, participated in archer, a low ropes course, and learned how to horseback ride.  We learned about recycling from Paw Patrol's Rocky, made blankets for local animal shelters and planted flowers with senior citizens.

Allie has been waiting to bridge to a BROWNIE for two long year.  Tonight I had the honor of placing her brownie vest on this new little brownie!

I'm so proud to continue on our Girl Scout journey together.  I can't wait to see what our Brownie year has in store for us!
