Pick a Peck of Pumpkins

Our poor Allie girl has been feeling down in the dumps.  She's had a fever on and off again for over a week now.  However, this morning her fever broke and we ran out of our house as fast as we could this morning to enjoy one of the last NICE fall days at the pumpkin patch...at Three Cedars Farm!  This was our first trip to Three Cedars...I can't believe we didn't come here sooner!  This place was a blast!!!  ...and oh so CUTE too!

We hopped on a hay ride to the pumpkin patch...to pick out the perfect pumpkin!  Ayden was MUCH happier in the pumpkin patch.  He loved to try and pick up the pumpkins...then beat on them like a drum (just like he does on everything else).  We found a perfectly round pumpkin to bring home, per Allie's approval.

Back at the farm Allie and Ayden had sooooo much fun playing!  There was the CUTEST nursery rhyme scenes with REAL live animals to see and pet.  Mary Had a Little Lamb, The Three Little Pigs, Billy Goats Gruff...and more!  Allie went around a pushed all the buttons to hear the stories and songs.  Allie LOVED the play structure...Ayden preferred to push the toy tractor around.

Sadly we cut our visit a little short...Allie's stink'n fever came back.  It was fun while it lasted.  Hopefully our trip out brightened Allie's day...even if it was for just a little bit.
